3 on the food 4 on the bowling Bowling is old school. You take the score and the lanes are simple, but thats what I like. There are about 7 lanes total. On a Friday night it wasn't too busy to walk in and grab a spot. You do have the option to grab apps, meals and drink. The food wasn't bad but it tasted average. I had a mushroom burger which was good but I really thought the peppers took away from the flavor. My hubs had the chicken sandwich and thought the chicken was just so-so. Staff was super friendly and down to earth. Very helpful. Overall, we liked our visit and really made for a casual date night. I would recommend a visit!
fun! tasty salads in a bowling alley?? good time with kids and adults and great drink selection. Can't wait to be back in town to beat our scores!
Wow I do not think I've ever scored myself for bowling and that was quite difficult. But dispute not having electric scoring the bowling was super fun. Super cute retro feel, see to have a big restaurant side and it seem popular to eat. We grabbed dinner after bowling and sat outside which was great. The outdoor area isn't large so getting seats can be challenging but if you get them it's worth a stop on a nice day.
We spent a few days in the Trumansburg/Ithaca area. Atlas Bowl was hands down THE BEST DINNER SPOT we tried! The menu had a huge variety. As a vegetarian, I had several delicious options. The portobello mushroom sandwich was amazing! The retro vibe of the decor is swell. Our server fit the vibe. She was very attentive and very personable! I have one complaint and it was a kid's birthday party. The children bowled and shrieked LOUDLY! As a mom, the sounds coming from them made me think something was very wrong. My heart dropped several times! Apparently that is how they bowl. It would have been nice if management had told them to tone it down. It was obnoxious and went on far too long.
The food is amazing, very good. The burgers are my favorite and fill you up! The service is very good, very respectful and never mean. The atmosphere at atlas bowl was very energetic and fun, had a great time bowling with friends and drinks there are amazing. I've got to say the food is very expensive and so are the drinks but still amazing place.
